Cucumber is known to be a dish prepared for our farmers by their wives for lunch accompanied with rice. Its known as “Kamath Batha” This vegetable is made in many ways but i give you the basic cucumber curry made as a farmers dish in the past & i am sure this is yet enjoyed by many food lovers.
Cucumber has herbal values and a drink is made out of it too. In sri lanka you can find many varieties of cucumbers.

Ingredients
300 g Cucumber
2 tsp chipped garlic
some curry leaves ( karapincha)
1 onion sliced
2 green chilis sliced
1/2 tsp mustered
1/2 tsp tumaric powder
1 tsp curry powder
1/2 tsp fenugreek
200 ml thick coconut milk
Directions
- take a clay pot,add all ingredients in to it.mixed it.
- add the coconut milk and cooked in slow fire for 3 to 4 minutes.
- add aslt and pepper and season.
